Airplanes are scary, driving isn't so much, and I avoid elevators. I know because airplane crashes and elevator failures are in the news, and I haven't been in a bad car accident yet. Whats troubling about this, is that I know all of those assertions to be false. Airplanes and elevators are incredibly safe, but some 40,000 people die a year in car accidents in the US alone. This is the trouble with anecdotal evidence, and my motivation behind this project.
